Research Overview
TB-500 is a synthetic version of a highly conserved region of Thymosin Beta-4 (Tβ4), a naturally occurring peptide present in virtually all human and animal cells.
Research in animal models has investigated TB-500’s interactions with actin — the protein central to cell structure and movement — and its potential roles in tissue repair models, angiogenesis, inflammation modulation, and recovery from injury. Studies have examined its upregulation following tissue damage and its relationship to cell migration and differentiation pathways.
